Maxine Moreau serves as President of CenturyLink’s Consumer Markets division. In this role, she has overall P&L responsibility for CenturyLink’s Consumer division and all aspects of the company’s Consumer strategy, go-to-market and customer experience. Her leadership has been critical to CenturyLink’s efforts to improve sales, marketing and customer service as well as transforming the customer experience. In addition, she serves as the company’s Executive Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Council.
Previously, Maxine served as Executive Vice President of Global Operations, responsible for planning, engineering, construction, operations and maintenance of CenturyLink’s robust 250,000-route-mile U.S. fiber network and 300,000-route-mile international transport network, including service delivery, service assurance, real estate/fleet management and region operations. She led the network enablement that currently provides commercial 100 Gbps services to businesses for high-bandwidth needs as well as the deployment of 1 Gbps fiber network to more than one million customers for both consumer and business.
Prior to leading Global Operations, Maxine held several leadership roles at CenturyLink, since rejoining the company in 2003. During this period, she led the successful integration of CenturyTel, Embarq, Qwest and Savvis, creating a Fortune 150 company and the third-largest telecommunications provider in the United States.
Maxine has worked for three decades in the telecommunications industry and has depth of knowledge and experience in operations, network services, IT and process improvement.
She has been recognized internally and externally for her strong leadership style, focus on accountability and decision making, and ability to challenge the status quo to achieve solutions that drive efficiency and revenue growth through improved customer experiences. She is also involved in her local community non-profit organizations, including the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Northeast Louisiana United Way.
Maxine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business – Computer Information Services (CIS) from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She resides with her family in Monroe, Louisiana.
